All the hard work of the past several months has finally paid off with over $4,000 being donated to local organizations to help fight hunger. At our December Assembly Meeting, we presented $1,000 to each to the YWCA Food Bank at Bucks Landing, the Ben Wilson Senior Center, the Warminster Presbyterian Church Food Bank, and the Coordinating Council for Health and Welfare, which operates a food pantry out of the Warminster Heights administrative building. This is in addition to $500 and 700 pounds of food donated to Philabundance. Rotary has the ability to touch so many lives and this is just the latest example.
