The Warminster Rotary hosted their Annual Rotary 5000 Gala this past Saturday, November 12, 2011, at the Spring Mill Manor.   The Rotary 5000 Gala is a wonderful event with plenty of food, dancing and fellowship.   The event raises money to help a child in the community who has a special need.    This year the Warminster Rotary will utilize the proceeds to assist a wonderful young man, Andrew, by purchasing additional equipment to help him in his daily battle with cerebral palsy.   Andrew and his twin brother, Kevin, attended the event accompanied by their mom, Diane, and younger sister, Morgan.    They danced the night away with Rotarians and friends of Rotary, without whom the good work of the Warminster Rotary Club could not be accomplished.    A special guest, District Governor, Bill Jahn, attended as well, and presented the Warminster Rotary Club with a certificate recognizing their 50 years of "Service Above Self", which will be officially celebrated in February 2012.
