Many of us are familiar with the voice of WPVI's "It's the Prime Time of My life" theme song but it may surprise you to learn that the voice behind the song is the one and only Peter Venneri, known to Warminster Rotary as " D.J. Pete". Yes, it's true, Pete has been entertaining audiences since he was 7 years old. So exceptional his talents as a young child, he became the winner of the nationally televised show " The Ted Mack Amateur Hour" performing in the Ed Sullivan Theatre in New York at the age of 11.
A Philadelphia native Peter continued his formal education as a voice major at the Philadelphia Granoff Conservatory of Music. He has shared the stage with some familiar show stoppers such as Frank Sinatra jr., Buddy Rich, Buddy Greco, Frankie Valley and the 4 Seasons, Brenda Lee, Bobby Rydell and Mel Torme.

Together with Daryl Hall (Hall & Oates) he starred in a television production, "The Sounds Of Our Times". He was the voice of several television and radio commercials  from 1987-1996.

In recent years, Peter has performed in Atlantic City with the Temptations, Suzette Charles and Mike Pedison.

Pete graciously accepted to be one of three judges at our speech contest. We are honored to have him on our team.
