It's hard to believe that 12 months have gone by and my year as President of the Warminster Rotary is about to come to an end.   It has been my pleasure to lead this organization for the 2011/2012  year - a very special year, being the 50th anniversary of the organization.  Over the course of the year, we have continued the proud tradition of the Warminster Rotary by providing great service to our community in the form of donations to local non-profits, direct assistance to several needy children in the area, and scholarships to high school students in each of our local schools.   We have also participated in a number of Rotary International projects which improve the lives of those in need globally, such as the Shelter Box program, which provides temporary housing and food prep materials following major disasters, and Rotoplast, which funds surgical intervention for children with cleft palate deformities in third world countries.   All of these initiatives make me proud to be a Rotarian and proud of the efforts my club put forth to truly embody our motto of "SERVICE ABOVE SELF".  Thank you to all my fellow Rotarians, and particularly, the Board members of the Warminster Rotary, for  your fellowship and service.
