On September 10, 2011, the Warminster Township Parks and Recreation Department, working with the Warminster Rotary Club officially opened Safety Town at Warminster Community Park.
The grand opening was the kick off celebration to the Township's 300th Anniversary! Shortly after the ribbon was cut, big and little kids piled into the Safety Town to experience it for the first time. And from the many smiles that were seen exiting, it looks like Safety Town is a HIT!
Thank you to all the volunteers, sponsors, and staff that put in many long days to make this possible. The Parks and Recreation Department would also like to thank the Warminster Rotary for spearheading this project and helping make this dream possible for all the children in the Warminster area.
